Hi, I'm Maximus — the proud owner of Max The Clipper, my very first barbershop, which I opened in 2025 at just 20 years old. I'm a self-taught barber. I never took a course or a class — I learned everything the hard way, teaching myself from scratch. That graft earned me a full-time job in Naas, where I spent six months learning the trade inside out: new techniques, and how to look after all kinds of people every single day. Then I decided to back myself and take action instead of just thinking about it. I spotted the chance to open the very first barbershop in my home town of Dunlavin, took on the property in July, and I've been renovating and restyling it ever since.
